Our Projects
Tengbeh Town Red Pump River Cleanup Activity
On October 26, 2024, Operation232 collaborated with the HYBRID Organization to implement the Tengbeh Town Red Pump River project. The aim of this project was to contribute to reducing plastic pollution and promote community environmental awareness. The activity involved over 20 community volunteers, where Operation232 provided over 10 of these volunteers, working together to remove waste and restore the river’s ecosystem, in line with our goal of achieving Sustainable Development Goal 13 (Climate Action).
Project Impacts
Waste Collection:
Successfully removed significant amounts of plastic waste and debris from the Tengbeh Town Red Pump River, improving water flow and ecosystem health.
Community Engagement:
Increased local involvement in environmental conservation, with additional residents volunteering during the cleanup.
Aesthetic Enhancement:
Painted bridge railings, walls, and riverside stones to beautify the area and inspire community pride.
Education & Skill Training
We organize practical workshops, under-an-hour presentations, and local leaders skill training for scheduled community cleanups. In an effort to remove and sort years-old waste in the community, while building better habits.
Resource Provision & Logistics
For Operations 232 to solve one of the major reasons for pollution, we will supply safety equipment (mask, boots, vest) and working tools per each central location. Available resources is a primary motivation for more work.
International 2G-Plastic Supply
Women and youth in plastic-collection will receive daily wages per each kg of plastics supplied to our processing warehouse. These processed 2nd Generation plastics will be sold in 100kg bundles to international markets (partnered buyers).
Local Plastic Recycling
Despite our international market, it is important to be a beacon of motivation for other youth to engage in plastic recycling locally. An extension of Operations 232 is the production of plastic recycled items (shopping bags, sandals. storage bags, tanks, etc.).

Clean Water and Sanitation
Operation 232 supports by preventing microplastics and macro-plastic blockades from polluting water sources and harming ocean ecosystems.

Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure
Operation 232 supports by promoting innovative recycling technologies and sustainable waste management infrastructure that drive resilient and eco-friendly industrial solutions.

Responsible Consumption and Production
Operation 232 promotes recycling and responsible waste management to reduce the environmental footprint of plastic consumption.

Climate Action
Operation 232 reduces carbon emissions by replacing plastic burning with recycling.

Sustainable Cities and Communities
